Question:
Hi, I have model year 2011 Yakima Rack and Roll trailer and i need to replace the tailblock lock. I found p/n 8880334 for 2015 and newer. Do you have another part number for year 2011?

Hey Stephen, I checked with Yakima and they do not have a different version of the Replacement Tail Block Locking Assembly for Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer that fits the older versions of the trailer. Only solution Yakima offers is to also replace the center frame rail part # 8880727 at same time so that it's current design. If it was me I think I think I would try just the newer tailblock lock by itself and see if there's a way to make that work and worse case scenario you have to get the frame rail as well.

Hey Stephen, did you get a chance to try the newer tailblock lock on your trailer? I'm curious to know if it worked out for you, as it might help others facing the same issue with older models.
