Updated 09/12/2025 | Published 08/16/2025 >
Question:
I am going to replace my Atwood GS961LP-RV, I am looking at the RS64FR. Can I turn the unit 90° and mount it in the same space as the old one?

Hi Debbie!
As long as the RV Safe RV Propane Gas Detector - 12 Volt - 2 Wire - White # RS64FR is no more than 18 inches off the ground, you can mount it however you like! The orientation will make no difference with its performance.
What kind of camper/trailer are you wanting to install this in?
