Do You Have a Replacement Window Frame for a 1-1/2" Thick Door?

Updated 08/25/2025 | Published 08/11/2025

Question:

Hi there, I have a 2007 Jayco Featherweight LGT. Its doors are 1.5 inches thick, which seem to be thinner than typical RV doors. Are there door window frames that will fit thinner doors like these? A while back I bought an AP Slim Shade, but it wouldnt fit a door this thin. Thanks!

Yes, there are Jim! For your Jayco trailer with a 1-1/2" thick door, you'll want the Lippert Replacement Window Frame with Seal for RV Entry Doors item # LC363370. This window and frame fits doors 1-1/2" thick and includes frosted glass that measures 12" x 21".

What happened to your old window?

Thanks, Jerred, I appreciate it. The windows themselves are fine, but the frames are yellowed from age and very ugly. I took them off and painted them, so they look great, but the seals are worn out. I've been slowly replacing every piece of yellowed or disintegrated cheap plastic on this thing. I wish the RV industry would make these rigs less disposable.

@JimF You're welcome Jim. Yeah some of these factory parts sure don't weather well.
