Will the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs Work w/ a U-Bolt Plate That Isn't Flat?

Question:

I am interested in 2 sets of these SuperSprings SS26MV I have a 2024 Open Ridge Highlander 371MBH WITH 2 Dexter 7k lb axels Will these work/fit The springs sit over the axels The top of the u-bolt brackets are not flat They have 2 slight contours on the top of the brackets. Please advise. Ty

Hey Bill, thanks for the information. The SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs item # SS26MV are compatible with those Dexter U-bolt brackets. We've had customers send in a few pics of their installs in the past and I've attached them below.

The one thing you'll want to check though is that you have 5-5/16" - 6-1/2" between the top of the spring plate and the bottom of the trailer frame. If you have that spacing then the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs item # SS26MV will indeed fit your 5th wheel trailer. These are sold as a pair. You'll need one set per axle.

Do you drive over bumpy roads regularly or just typical highway and flat top?

@WilliamS You're welcome! The SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs item # SS26MV are exactly what you need for highway and flat top travel. If you were routinely traveling on bumpy gravel roads you'd want to go with a heavier duty set up like shocks.
