Hey Pat! Thanks for reaching out.

I wish it were as simple as plugging in your trailer’s year, make, and model to find the exact part, but unfortunately, there isn't a database for trailer parts.

If you don’t have the original grease caps to reference, the next best step is to measure the inner diameter of the hub bore where the cap installs. For the most accurate reading, I recommend using a dial or digital caliper since grease caps are measured down to the thousandth of an inch, precision really matters here.

Once you’ve got that measurement, send it my way and I’ll help you track down the right cap!

Thank you so much, Gwendolyn! Unfortunately, the trailer itself is located at the river a few hours away. But thankfully, I brought the old rubber cap home with me. I drew a sketch of the part and provided three measurements using my calipers. Unfortunately, the system won’t let me paste that sketch/photo to this reply. I’ll reply to the email you sent and hopefully that will do the trick. As best I can name them here are the three dimensions. Total diameter 1.683“ Inside diameter of cap when fully seated 1.354“ Diameter of section you have to push into the hub bore 1.512“ Measuring a rubber part that moves when you close the calipers was a challenge. So these dimensions could easily be off by a bit. But they directionally accurate. Thanks again for your help.

@Pat Thanks for your reply, Pat! I got your email and your picture, thanks for sending that. I looked over what we have and don't see anything close to the specs you gave me. I looked over all the plugs and they seem to be all the same size with the exception of a few that are for specific brands caps, which are much smaller. If you want to go ahead and get some, part # RG04-010 is going to the best bang for you buck for a set of two. Even if you need just one the price between getting one or two is minimal. Plus nice to have a spare for just in case reasons. I've also included a link to a QA my coworker Jon did that includes a little diagram that you may find helpful. Hopefully this helps you out, Pat! If not let me know.
