When you pull into the campground, you're tired from the drive. You kick off your shoes, pour yourself something to drink, and flop down on the sofa with a sigh. When it's time to call it a night, you flip the cupholder up, lift the seat, pull it forward, and press the sofa flat. This sofa ships in manageable sections that fit through narrow RV doors, so you can bring it inside without scuffs or struggle. Once in place, complete the minimal assembly, add the matching kickboard, and you're ready to sit back. If you need a base for installation, you can add a set of legs (sold separately): 195-000017. They'll lift the sofa to a comfortable height and give you space underneath to store your gear.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our Thomas Payne RV Jackknife sofa with a kickboard. Now folks, this is a fold down 62 inch wide satula color. Now this would be easy to lay down when the time comes to make a quick, easy bed or sleep in space for friends or family while also leaving space open beneath the frame so you can store your totes, bedding gear, those kind of things. Now, keep in mind I just have this set on the tabletop today.
It's not bolted down any kind of frame or anything like that. You're basically gonna be using this as a replacement, more likely than not. If for some reason you don't have some kind of a box or some area that you're attaching this to, you can purchase separately a universal leg kit for the Thomas Payne Motor Home jackknife sofas like we're looking at today. That's sold separately. Now I do want to get this folded down, so lemme go and put that away.
Again, you have the nice cup holders here, a couple front and back. So when it's time to lay down the sofa from the front, normally you would just pick up at the base. And like I said, from there you could then access that storage space underneath and then you would just simply fold it down flat like so. And now you have a space to sleep on. And you're gonna do it in relaxed comfort because it has a nice padding here on both sides.
Now this is a wipe clean upholstery. It's a leather looking color and upholstery, but it simply wipes clean drinks would just beat up easily and cleanup would be a breeze if someone did spill something. This is gonna fit through 26 inch or wider entry doors. So make sure you're measuring before you purchase and everything, make sure it's gonna fit your area. Again, 62 inches wide in the front.
That's frame to frame. Just the seating surface is 59 inches wide from the front laying down like it is right now, it's 42 inches long from front to back. And as far as the seating surface, let's go ahead and fold this back up. The seating surface is 20 inches long from front to back, and again that same 59 inches wide from the front. Now I do wanna zoom in here and show you a little bit better view from the front here of that color. And again, that fold down center rest with the two cup holders. And as you can see, you got plenty of space there for those cup holders. So again, folks, we'll fit through a 26 inch or wider entry door.
