Recommended 5' Propane Hose w/ a 3/8" Male NPT Fitting?

Updated 08/15/2025 | Published 07/23/2025

Question:

I have an Atwood Wedgewood Vision oven/stove I want to hook to a 20lb propane tank. Removed from wrecked RV and want to install in car trailer. I need a hose without a regulator stove already has one to go from tank to stove which has a 3/8 inch male fitting. Is there such a think or do I need adapters also. I have a hose with a regulator but stove top will not light when I use it. Hose needs to be 5 ft at a minimum. Can you help.

Hey Alfred. Yeah you can't use two regulators on a propane system. You'll get no flow. I've got two 5' hoses with 3/8" Male NPT fittings. I have listed them below:

3/8" Male NPT x 1/2" Female Flare Swivel - 5' item # 100383-60-MBS

3/8" Male NPT x 1/2" Female SAE Swivel - 5' item # 37207-31475

You'll probably need an adapter or extra fitting depending on the connection your making. What size fitting do you need on the other end of the hose?

Hey Alfred, did you find the right hose and adapter to get your stove working in the car trailer? I'm curious because it could help others with similar setups.
