Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the JR Products propane hose. Like most propane hoses, this is designed to allow your propane or LP gas to run through so you can get it from point A to point B, ideally to power up your propane powered appliances, whatever those may be for you.There are a few things that you want to look for when purchasing a propane hose to make sure that it's going to fit your setup. The first thing is going to be the length. Obviously you want it to be able to reach from point A to point B, so you can get that gas to flow through there.

This hose is five feet long. It's got a internal diameter of 3/8". That's going to provide plenty of room for that LP gas to flow through so you can power those appliances. It does have a rubber construction and that's going to help resist any sort of kinks or cracking, anything like that. So it should hold up very well.

So as long as your point A and point B are less than five feet apart, this should work for you.The second thing you want to look for are your fittings. There are several different fittings available for propane powered appliances and hoses, so you want to look at your setup to determine what kind of fitting that you're going to need. We've got two different ones here. This one is going to be our 3/8" male NPT fitting, so that's going to most likely connect to the regulator on your RV or travel trailer. It's possible that it could attach to something else depending on what you're using the hose for, but you want to look for that 3/8" male NPT fitting there.This fitting here is our 1/2" female swivel SAE with the flair, you can see on the inside there.

It's kind of tapered in towards the center. That's where our connection is going to be made to make sure that no gas leaks out. The swivel fitting portion of this is going to make it much easier to get this hose installed. We're not going to have to turn the whole hose to get it tightened into place. We can simply swivel that fitting there and it's going to connect.

Again, this is our 1/2" female swivel SAE fitting. So you want to make sure that your set up . you're going to need a 3/8" male NPT and a 1/2" female swivel SAE. This hose is UL and CSA approved, so it's going to hold up to those high quality standards you can trust it's going to do a good job for you and do what you need it to do.Now if this isn't the hose that you need.
