How to Install the Replacement Spring on a Fulton T160 Hand Winch

I purchased a spring for a Fulton T160 winch. I need a diagram to figure out how to install the spring. Thanks

I have attached the instructions sheet for the Fulton hand winches that shows how to replace the ratchet spring. I have also attached a link to one of our other expert questions that includes a video showing how to disassemble and reassemble the ratchet pawl and spring.

Basically, you will need to remove the bolt holding the ratchet pawl in place. Be sure to note how it came apart because there will be about 7 pieces total. On the spring, there is a narrow end and a wide end. The wide end hooks into the ratchet pawl and the narrow end hooks to the winch frame.
