Can Rich Solar 200W Panel Kit Power Dometic CFX Fridge On Weekend Trip?

Question:
Is the RS37VR big enough to power my Dometic CFX fridge on a weekend trip?

Hey Jerald, the Rich Solar 200W Kit # RS37VR will give you enough solar to keep up with a Dometic fridge and basic 12V loads over a weekend. In ideal sun, it’ll produce 10–11 amps/hour, or ~50–60Ah per day. That’s close to what a Dometic pulls per day in moderate temps. But since you have a battery with stored power, the solar is just there to replenish what the fridge and 12v loads pull. So you will be just fine with this setup, but you won't have a lot of excess battery capacity to spare!
