How Many Additional Panels Can Be Added To The Rich Solar RV Solar Charging Kit RS37VR

This kit says that the controller is expandable. If Im using this system to charge 12v AGM batteries, how many total watts of panels can be used? I see it comes with a 200 watt panel, how many more can be added. Thanks for always being so helpful!

Hey Deven, thanks for reaching out, and good question. For a 12 volt system, the charge controller can handle one 200 watt panel. For 24v systems it can do two 200 watt panels. So while the kit technically is expandable, with your 12v system, the one 200 watt panel is the max you can do.
The additional panel is available as part # RS23FR.
If you are wanting to run two 200 watt panels with your 12v system, the Rich Solar RV Solar Charging Kit w/ 2 Panels - 12V - 400 Watts # RS97VR is what you would need.
