Updated 07/09/2025 | Published 07/07/2025

Question:

Need to replace existing trailer jack on older Rockwell pop up 1640 ltd. A-frame jack with outer steel tube 2 inch diameter and inner steel tube 1 1/2 inch diameter. Having trouble finding these dimensions. Thanks

Hey Jerry, finding an a-frame trailer jack with an outer tube of 2 inches is a little harder but we do have the Dutton Lainson part # DL22530 that covers this and would work great. It is a sidewind jack. The inner tubing is 1-3/4 inches which shouldn't be a problem but let me know either way.

Do you think there is enough play to fit through the 1 1/2 inner diameter? Thanks Jameson C

@JerryK Are you trying to fit a wheel or foot to the jack?

@JamesonC trying to fit jack through existing trailer holes. And if it works, purchase a foot

@JerryK Unless I am not understanding your setup it should be just the outer tube of the jack that would need to fit through the trailer's holes which in this case would be 2 inches.
