Will The MORryde StepAbove RV Steps MR69ZV Interfere With The Door Being Able To Close?

Question:
Hi there, I have a 2008 Airstream International Signature 23D and am interested in the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps. Im curious if there are any issues with the door closing, it appears they hang from the door threshold.

Great question, Steve!
Though I have never run across the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps # MR69ZV interfering with a door before, you will want to measure a couple things to make sure everything will fit properly.
First, measure the rise of your threshold (Figure A). The distance between the floor and top of the threshold must be between 5/8" and 3/4". If the height of your threshold is outside of this range, the doors may not close properly.
Second, to allow room for the hinge plate, there must be a gap of at least 3/8" between the threshold and the bottom of the entry and screen doors (Figure B). If the gap is too narrow, the doors may not close while the steps are down.
If those look good, you will have absolutely no problems! : )
Any more trips planned for the year? You have a pretty sweet camper and I would try to be out in it as much as I could!

Thanks for the reply Lazer. Prior to hearing from you I called etrailer's expert number and asked the same question, they assured me it would work but didn't provide the measurements that you did. Based on the answer I went ahead and ordered the stairs. As it turns out my camper has a distance of 1-3/8" from the finish floor to top of threshold lip and less than 1/8" gap between the bottom of the screen door and threshold. I have photos of each measurement that I can send you, but it appears the stairs will not work with my camper. Is there an email address I can send the photos to?
