If My Landing Gear Legs Are Leaking Can I Replace Just The Legs?

Updated 06/30/2025 | Published 06/23/2025

Question:

2003 ALFA See Ya. The landing legs are leaking and can not be repaired... can I replace the legs only keeping the original pump and valve system with Lippert hydraulic legs? 8k per, minimum.

Hey there! You can definitely replace just the jack assembly and keep the original pump system assuming that is all functioning correctly. Something like the # LC63ED would be the replacement for the middle or rear of the trailer on your Lippert Level Up system with that 8k capacity.

You are going to want to make sure you get a direct replacement for the system you have to ensure compatibility. What landing gear system do you currently have on your trailer? I can take a look and see if we have a leg for your exact system for you to replace.

@Snubbi No worries! I took a look at that system. We no longer carry the specific replacement legs for that system, however Lippert does make replacements for you. I recommend reaching out to Lippert directly, they will be bale to get the right replacement for your system.
