Question:

My hub has 17002 stamped into it but I can’t find anything on that idler hub. Do you know what would replace it

Hi Blake; 17002 isn't a part number for a hub I have any information on. You will need to either identify it with the axle tag or pull the hub and identify the bearings and bolt pattern to find a replacement. The bearing numbers may be stamped on the side so start by checking there. If they're worn or missing, you will need to measure the inner diameter using a digital caliper # PTW80157.

Once you have this information, add it to the comments below and I'll help you find the right part. If you find that you have a # L68149 inner and # L44649 outer bearing with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern you can use the # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K you were looking at.

Hey Blake, did you have a chance to check the bearings and bolt pattern on your hub? I'm here to help you find the right replacement once you have that information.

@RobinH I just checked them and both bearings are l44643. They seem in real good shape I just need to replace the seals. Do you know what seal would go with those bearings

@Blake sounds like a standard BT8 spindle so that would be # 34823. Wouldn't hurt to measure the spindle where the bearings ride just to be sure. The inner diameter is 1.249" so that would match your spindle/existing grease seal.
