Howdy, What is the thickness of this bumper Part Number: MNT98ZR and Crazy question can the old 4”x 4” bumper slide inside this one.

Hey Billie,
I spoke with my contact at Mount-n-Rack, the wall thickness of the Heavy-Hauler bumper # MNT98ZR 0.160" and made out of aluminum alloy. In regards to your unique, not crazy, question yes you can fit a 4 x 4 bumper inside of it. You would most likely need to come up with a creative way to secure it in case of it sliding back and forth or moving.
