Hey Albert, there's typically two big things that cause trailer sway. It's either that there isn't enough tongue weight on the front of the trailer relative to the total trailer weight...it needs to be 10-15 percent of the total trailer weight or the trailer is sitting nose high. I make sure the trailer is sitting level and then I would see if you can move any weight forward in the trailer and see if this helps. This is especially true if the sway in the trailer starts around 55 mph or so.

That said we do have electronic sway control like the part # C94VV which will apply the brakes lightly any time sway is detected to stop it in it's tracks.

Hey Albert, did adjusting the tongue weight or leveling the trailer help with the sway issues? I'm asking because your experience could really help others facing similar towing challenges.
