Can I Use The Anti Rattle e99007 With An aluminum Shank?
Updated 05/27/2025 | Published 05/21/2025 >
Question:
Hello, quick question on the 2” etrailer anti-rattle accessory, part number e99007. Is this product safe to use on a rack accessory with an aluminum tongue? A bit worried about cinching this thing down on that since I know aluminum isn’t quite as durable as steel. Thanks for any info!

Hey Matthew,
You can absolutely use the # e99007 with an aluminum tongue accessory. Since it is something that installs and is hand tightened down there will not be any issues. You will want to periodically check the nuts to make sure they are tight and adjust accordingly, but this is going to work great for you.
What hitch accessory are you using this with?
