Do You Carry a QuickTrim Hub Cover for My Wheel that has 5 on 4.25" Bolt Pattern?

Updated 05/22/2025 | Published 05/18/2025

Question:

I own a 2018 Clipper 806ls popup trailer. The factory wheels are 12x5-4.25 bolt pattern. All I see online is 5x4.5 bolt pattern. Do you sell 12x5-4.25 wheels?

Hello Joe,

We do not carry anything in that size. When I look up that bolt pattern I see that it is common on some Fords, Lincolns, Volvos, and Jaguars. When it comes to the trailer world it is listed as "very rare".

It might be worth updating your hubs and wheel to a more common bolt pattern. For an idler hub you could go with # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K, if you have brakes # AKHD-545-2-EZ-2K.

For tires and wheels you could go with the Kenda Karrier ST145/R12 Radial Trailer Tire with 12" Black Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR D # AM35354.

A lot of work for a cover, but then you would be able to use the Phoenix USA QuickTrim Hub Cover for Trailer Wheels - 5 on 4-1/2 - ABS Plastic - Black - Qty 1 # PXQT545BHS.

I know this is not the answer you were hoping for, and for that I do apologize.

Any big adventures coming up? If so, where are you headed?

Hi Kate, I later realized when measuring a 5 lug bolt pattern from center of stud to center of stud that I need to add a 1/4". This gives me the 4.5" bolt pattern. One can also measure from top of stud to center of stud and obtain the same measurement. Hopefully this info helps someone else who reads this.

@Joe Yes, measuring the odd 5 lug bolt pattern can be a little tricky. We actually have an entire help article about measuring your bolt pattern. Our help articles are not the easiest to find, so I attached a link if you would like to give it a gander. So it sounds like the Phoenix USA QuickTrim Hub Cover for Trailer Wheels - 5 on 4-1/2 - ABS Plastic - Black - Qty 1 # PXQT545BHS will work for you after all.
