Is there room to open the tailgate with the Andersen Weight Distribution System installed?

Good afternoon Shiela.
You can definitely open the tailgate with the Andersen WDH attached to the truck and trailer; the system doesn't stick up higher than the shank or pose any other issues. The only thing I'm worried about is the trailer's tongue jack, which is typically in the way, so you'll want to look at that area before trying to drop the tailgate. But don't worry about the Andersen WDH itself.
