Replacement Leaf Springs for 2014 Heartland Sundance 288RLS

Updated 05/05/2025 | Published 05/02/2025

Question:

I have a 2014 heartland Sundance 288rls and would like to replace the leaf springs. The eye to eye measurement I get is 25 1/2” so assuming that I would be looking at the 25 1/4” springs but my axles are rated for 5080 lbs each . is the 5000 lbs spring e44SR what I need, or is the 5200 lbs 072-025-00 what I should get

Hey Jerry, the Dexter leaf spring part # DX45CR that you referenced is exactly what you are looking for. This is the correct length at 25-1/4 inches and the correct axle rating at 5,200 lbs. Is this first time you've replaced leaf springs on a trailer?

@JerryG Right on! It's not a crazy hard job or anything but like with anything vehicle or trailer suspension have some WD40 handy in case you run into some stubborn hardware.
