Difference Between Draw Tite and Curt Hitch
Updated 09/26/2025 | Published 04/28/2025 >
Question:
Draw-Tite Part Number: 75362 Curt Trailer Part Number: 14301 What is the real difference between the 2 hitches above? Same Class rating but very different weight capacity. I prefer how the draw tite hugs closer to the bumper. However higher weight capacity is needed.

Hey Clint, the Draw Tite part # 75362 and the Curt # 14301 are both a fit for your 2013 Chevy Silverado and are great options but they are made by two different companies so they took a slightly different approach which explains the slight differences and capacities. If you need the higher capacity though the Curt is the way to go.
Only the hitch opening of the Curt hangs below the rear bumper so it's more concealed as well.
