Will the Demco DM9511013 tow bar bottom out in the BX88265 before the pin holes line up?

No, it will not Jay. The Blue Ox Hitch Extender for Tow Bars item # BX88265 has 3-3/4" of space past the hitch pin hole. There's plenty of room back there for the rest of the shank of the Demco Excali-Bar III Non-Binding Tow Bar item # DM9511013. You will need to use the hitch pin hole closest to the end of the shank.

Hey Jay, did the Blue Ox Hitch Extender work out for your setup with the Demco tow bar? I'm asking because it could help others who are considering a similar setup.

@JerredH I did not use the blue ox. I purchased one from Harbor Freight and it worked with the Demco tow bar.

@Jay Yikes! Keep an eye on it. We've heard some horror stories about how cheap those Haul-Master extenders are. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

@JerredH Thanks, I drilled a 1/2" hole through the two parts where they are welded together and installed a 1/2" grade 8 bolt. I'm sure the failure point is the weld. I would have done the same with the Blue Ox one.
