Question:
Hello, I have a 2022 Grand Design Solitude 3740 BH and I am considering upgrading to Deemax Disc Brakes. The 5th wheel has 8000lbs axles. I am just unsure of exactly what I should buy to make this work. I see the hub and rotor kits, but do I need anything else like actuator? If you could help me, that would be wonderful.

Hey Jamie, you would need more than just the DeeMax Disc Brake Kit part # DE98AR. This would cover the hub/rotors and the components that install on the spindle of the axle but you'd everything else with the Hydrastar kit part # CAR-HBA16-2.
This will give you the nicest actuator around that's super reliable and fast reacting as well as the needed brake lines and all other electrical components.

Hey Jamie, did you decide to go with the Hydrastar kit for your brake upgrade on the Grand Design Solitude? I'm curious to know how the installation went and if everything worked out as expected. Your experience could really help others looking to make similar upgrades.
