I have a 2017 Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum with panoramic sunroof and low profile rails. What would be my best option and accessories to get a roof rack I can put cargo on?

I can certainly point you in the right direction. For your 2017 Toyota Highlander with the panoramic roof and factory rails I recommend the Thule Wingbar setup. The complete roof rack consists of the following parts;

Crossbars - Thule Wingbar 50" # TH711320
Towers - Thule Fixpoint Feet # TH49SC
Fit Kit - # TH32RE

I really like the Thule Wingbars. They are very durable, and the aero shape will minimize road noise. With this roof rack, you have a lot of options for carrying cargo. It really comes down to how much gear you need to carry, and what type of items you will be putting in there. The aero crossbars will allow you to mount virtually any accessory. Keep in mind that it is NOT recommended to open your sunroof with the roof rack installed.

If you want to do an enclosed cargo box, I recommend a Thule roof box like the # TH6357B. This is a 16 cubic foot enclosed cargo box 74-3/4" long x 33" wide x 18" tall. Thule makes a top notch roof box. It is fully lockable, and weather resistant. The black aero design is going to look really good on top of your highlander. This option is preferred if you have larger items, or items you want to keep out of the elements.

You could also go with a cargo basket. I recommend the Thule Canyon # TH859XT. This is a 49" x 40" x 6" steel cargo basket. With that it is recommended to use either a cargo net # TH692, or waterproof bag # TH692 to secure your items.

All this being said, you can mount virtually any accessory on a Thule aero bar. So if you want to go bigger or smaller you will have tons of options. I have linked a few of our install/review videos below if you want to take a look.
