What Size Fitting would Be Needed to Add Tee Fitting to Valterra HydroFlush

Question:

I recently purchased the black tank flush kit VAL42RB. I installed it and am very pleased with it. I plan to add a second nozzle using a tee fitting on the clear hose. Can you tell me what size barbed tee I need? Thanks!

Hey Jacob, the Valterra HydroFlush RV Black Tank Flush System # VAL42RB has 3/4 inch diameter hose so that would be the size fittings to use to add a tee.

Thanks for the quick reply! I don’t see any 3/4 in the RV fresh water fittings category. Do you have a part number I can order with?

@JacobS Its not a standard RV water fitting so that's why you probably didn't see anything for it on our site or on similar sites. Basically it's the same size as garden hoses and garden hoses use 3/4 inch hose so that would be correct size to use. Keep in mind the hose you have would stretch a bit and if you use a band clamp to secure it you wouldn't have to be super exact.
