Recommended Bulldog Trailer Jack That Installs With a Snap-Ring, 15" Lift, and 2,000 lb Capacity

Updated 10/24/2025 | Published 03/31/2025

Question:

Hi, I have a bulldog trailer jack mounted in my boat trailer. its 1000lbs rated. It’s too short, and am looking to buy something that extends more, ideally 15”. The bulldog is attached to a plate that’s mounted on the trailer. There is an o-ring snap ring that secures it to that plate. Is there a bulldog jack that I can mount to that same hole, but has a longer extension, more like 15”+? I’m looking for a 2000 lbs version ideally. Thanks.

Hey Ron Bulldog does make something like that! It sounds like you're looking for the Bulldog Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Jack # BD151464. This jack has 15" of lift, attaches using that snap-ring you mention, and has a 2,000 lb capacity.

What kind of boat do you pull with your trailer? If there is anything else I can do for you, please feel free to drop a comment and let me know!

Hey Ron, how did the Bulldog swivel jack with the 15-inch lift work out on your boat trailer? Your update could make it easier for others looking for a longer jack that still uses the snap-ring mount.
