Will 68 inch Long Crossbars of Thule Overhaul be Long Enough for Thule Hullavator

Good afternoon, I am looking to add a ladder rack to my 2023 Jeep Gladiator to use a Hullavator Pro to carry a 14 foot kayak. Are the 68 inch bars with the Yakima Overhaul sufficient for the kayak to clear the cab when lowered? I currently have a soft tonneau I plan to remove when installing the rack. I am thinking in the future to get a Roll and Lock XT cover which has t slots. Until I get a new tonneau is it recommended to use accessory rails on the Gladiator to attach the ladder rack vs directly attaching to the bed? If yes are there any recommendations? Is there any potential issues you know of I need to be aware of? Thanks, Steve

Hey Steven, yes the 68 inch long crossbars of the Yakima OverHaul HD part # Y01151-5855 would be long enough to allow a kayak to clear the cab of your 2023 Jeep Gladiator with the Thule Hullavator # TH898. To your other question I would not try to use an accessory rail to install this till you switch your tonneau cover. I would attach these with the non-tonneau cover adapter hardware for the time being and then once you get that cover then utilize the channels of it.
