Will Yakima SkyBox NX XXL and Thule Motion 3 Roof Box Fit 2023 Mazda CX-9 Carbon Edition Crossbars

My wife has a 2023 CX-9 Carbon Edition with factory rails and crossbars. We are looking at the Yakima sky box NX XXL and the Thule motion 3 XL. Checking to confirmed the above carriers will work with the factory Mazda crossbars

Hey Judah! The Yakima SkyBox NX XXL # Y43QD and Thule Motion 3 # TH87PN or # TH59PN will fit your 2023 Mazda CX-9 Carbon Edition crossbars. However, you will need to make sure you have the correct crossbar spread (I'm sure you do but it is best to measure).
The Yakima # Y43QD requires a 24" - 42" crossbar spread. Both of the Thule models require a 21-13/16" - 36-9/16" crossbar spread. If I were to choose one It would be the SkyBox NX XXL. I had a chance to use this on a trip to Myrtle Beach last year and absolutely loved it. I have used an Inno before, own an older Thule, and this was definitely the best experience I've had. It is really easy to install, use, and has plenty of storage space. Are you planning to use this for a big trip this summer?
