Correct Size Yakima SkyBox for a 2017 Toyota RAV4

I have a 2017 Toyota Rav4 with factory side rails and 50 inch Malone Airflow 2 cross bars. Im trying to decide what is the largest cargo box that you would recommend for me? Ive been looking at the Yakima Skybox 16 and 18. I looks to me like the 16 might be a better fit but the extra room of the 18 would be nice. Please let me know any advice you might have. Thank you!

The Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Roof Cargo Box part # Y95AV and Yakima SkyBox 18 Roof Cargo Box part # Y07336 will both fit on your 2017 Toyota RAV4. That said, you most likely won't be able to open the rear hatch all the way with the Yakima SkyBox 18. The Yakima SkyBox 16 should clear the rear hatch but in order to confirm you will need to measure from the center of the front crossbar while slide all the way forward to the line where the hatch and roof meet. This measurement will need to be less than 47" in order for this box to work.
