I have the yakima fat cat 6 with the hardware to it into the T slot mounts in my jet stream bars but i cant figure out how to put the hardware on

The Yakima FatCat 6 Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, # Y03088, or the Yakima FatCat 4 Locking Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Carrier, # Y03087, will fit directly to the T-Slot of your roof rack but only with the adapting hardware kit. The necessary hardware can only be found in the Replacement T-Slot Mounting Hardware for Yakima FatCat, # 8860085. I spoke with my contact at Yakima and confirmed this hardware is what you will need to mount the FatCat to your crossbar's T-Slot.

I attached pictures I took from the install instructions for the Fatcats that shows how the install hardware attach to the base of the rack. You would need to reverse that process. Pull up on the release lever and unscrew it till the old mounts comes off and then install the new hardware in the same way.
