Can LT Tire Size 235/85R16 be Used on Trailer

Question:
I have a 2014 Heartland Landmark Key Largo. I getting ready the replace the tires on it. It has LT 235/85R/16G. I was told that I shouldnt put LT tires on I should use ST tires. Im confused and could use some help. Thanks, Charlie

Hey Charlie, we do have a great ST tire in the size of ST235/85R16 with the part # TTWPRG235R16 which would be a great option but it is acceptable to use LT tires on a trailer. It's pretty common actually but generally we recommend the ST for trailer applications as the LT is for trucks too.
