Hello, My uncle has an 1978 5th wheel an the ac went out. Ac model is a duo-therm 54615-245 or -246. Would this ac unit be an easy upgrade? Or would we have to do a lot for this unit to work?

This kit comes with everything to replace the old system, so you won't have to worry about compatibility or anything. It has a built-in start capacitor to allow a lower amperage pull when starting, and there's an optional Electric Heat Strip for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners - 5,500 BTU - R32 # ADV34QR to warm up the cabin a little bit if you don't already have a space heater or something like that.
