Question:
I have a 2018 ford F150 and bought a class 4 Curt 45036 trailer hitch and a 14017 hitch to the vehicle. I never had to use it until recently and the holes for the pin assembly are miss aligned. I can’t put the pin through both holes and required. Help?

Hey Manuel, I'm sorry to hear that, but Curt # C45036 and # C14017 should work fine together. If they're not, the only thing you can try apart from sending it back, is make those holes a bit bigger so the pin can get all the way through. I'd only suggest this if they are just barely off, if it's more than let's say a quarter inch, then I'd send it back.

Bryce, I don’t have the high strength drill bits so can I return the ball hitch. My only question would be if the ball hitch was drilled correctly, and replacing it might place me back on the same miss alignment issue. The problem could be a the trailer hitch. What are the dimensions for both ( ball hitch and trailer hitch) from the center of the hole to the bottom of each assembly. This would tell me that part was miss drilled. Any help would be appreciated as I plan on using the hitch assembly this spring.
