Question:

I currently have Sumo Springs on my 2006 Toyota Tundra, Base Model but I have seen recently these Timbren, Part Number: TTORTUN4 and I was wondering if the Timbren is better than the Sumo Springs? Ive upgraded my leaf springs on my truck from stock to Heavy duty, installed Rancho 5000 shocks and installed Sumo springs, which have helped when towing my 26foot travel trailer. Any feedback you may have is appreciated. Thank you

Hey William thanks for stopping in! Personally I'd go with SumoSprings # SSR-610-54 over Timbrens. SumoSprings are a progressive spring which means the initial engagement is much softer compared to Timbrens which ultimately gives you better ride without sacrificing support.

These particular springs will work with 4WD models, has a 2,800 lb capacity, and are maintenance free since there is no air lines or air pressure to monitor.

If there is anything else I can do for you, please feel free to drop a comment and let me know!

Hey William, how has your Tundra been riding with the SumoSprings after your upgrades? Your experience could point others in the right direction when choosing between SumoSprings and Timbrens.
