Hey there Keith,
I am sorry the thermostat on the Air Distribution Box w/ Wall-Mounted Thermostat for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners # ACRG15 is not working correctly. It sounds like a frustrating issue, but let's go through a few things to see if we can get it sorted out. If the screen is blinking but not displaying any numbers or letters, the first thing to check is the power supply. Make sure the thermostat is getting a steady 12V DC, as low or unstable voltage can cause issues like this. You can use a multimeter to confirm if the right amount of power is reaching the thermostat.
Next, it’s worth double checking the wiring to make sure everything is connected properly. A loose or incorrect connection could be causing the issue. The standard wiring for these thermostats typically has red for power, blue for common/ground, yellow for the compressor, white for heat, and green for the fan. If all the connections look good, try resetting the thermostat by disconnecting power for about 10–15 minutes before reconnecting. Sometimes, a reset is all it takes to clear up the problem.
If you are still having some issues I recommend that you reach out to my friends at Advent (they are a great team): 800-688-3135
Please let me know how things work out and how you got it working =)
