Question:
on Jan 12 2023 I purchased a Advent 15000 from you I keep getting a error code E5. I have checked the wiring and can not find a problem. I even by passed the coach wiring and connected the t stat directly to the colored wires coming from the unit named t stat. I have 12 volts going to the ac. as soon as the 12 volt power is turned on the same, E5, code flashes. the t stat never goes to the off/on position. I am totally lost as what needs to be done. Thanks for your help,

An E5 error code simply means there's a communication error between the relay box # PXXACRG12RB and the thermostat. If you're hooking it directly to the relay box without any extra wire and it's wired correctly and you're still getting the E5 error then either the relay box or thermostat is defective and needs to be replaced.
Just to make sure you have it wired correctly I've listed the wire colors from the relay box and their connections on the thermostat below:
Blue: A
Purple: B
Green: COM
Red/White: 12v
Since you just purchased it you would still have a warranty so I recommend reaching out to the parent company ASA Electronics for a warranty replacement to get your Advent Air RV Air Conditioner System # ADV64FR up and running.

I just wanted to send an update in case you would like to add it to this one. Update..ASA Electronics advised that they will send him a new relay box and thermostat because when you get that error both the relay and the thermostat needs to be replaced. Thanks!
