I’m trying to identify and find trailer coupler parts for a 1975 or 6 21’ Kit Companion travel trailer that I need to move. any clues to help?

Hey Thomas, I've attached an FAQ on how you can identify your coupler but basically you just need to take note of its type (A-frame, Straight tongue, etc.), the trailer side connection, how it installs and the capacity.
So from what I can see, your 21’ Kit Companion travel trailer uses an A-frame style coupler with a standard hitch ball setup. I did also check the capacity and it looks like your trailer has a GVWR of 5,000 lbs, so something like the Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler w/ Jack # DM14793-81 should work great.
This coupler is a bolt on, A-frame style, that is compatible with a 2" ball and has a weight capacity of 10,000 lbs, so it'll have plenty of capacity to handle your trailer.
