Hello Rich, thanks for reaching out. You will need a new converter to make your Parallax 7300 work with lithium batteries. For that, all you will need is the Replacement Section for AC/DC Power Distribution Panel - 35 Amp # PD4635V.

Are you looking for new batteries too? What size/group battery do you have currently?

The link below will show you our selection of Lithium batteries. Reply below with any questions or comments and I will get back to you.

Thank you. Do we need to add anything between the alternator and the lithium battery? And or anything else when we upgrade to lithium? Thank you Rich Pomponio

@RichP No the Replacement converter section will be all you need. That and a few new batteries that is. The converter has a switch to change to a lithium charging profile.

@JesseM I read that a DC to DC charger is needed between the alternator and the battery or you could burn up the alternator and or the battery. And that the alternator may need to be upgraded? I cant find any specs on if the original 2008 Dodge sprinter alternator can charge lithium. Thanks Rich

@RichP The Converter section is not connected to the alternator. It takes shore power and uses it to charge your battery. So nothing additional would be needed to make this work. Are you wanting an additional charger so you can charge your battery while you are driving? I can't give you specs on your alternator but I can recommend a DC to DC charger if you need one.
