Question:

Good day I have a 25 Chevy 2500 and ordered the airbag 5000 kit . Bought a raptor yesterday and the dealer took the airbags out said with the Curtis a20 5th wheel hitch. The plates that bolted to the frame he had to remove the bags .is there a top mount plate that will work with the xtra width with the frame rail plates Installed ???

Hey Corey, which specific fifth wheel rail kit did you have installed and also is it the Firestone Ride Rite kit part # F2613 that you had installed? If there's interference there might be a way to fabricate the brackets to fit on the air bag kit but otherwise a better solution is suspension enhancement that won't interfere like the Roadmaster Active Kit part # RAS3611-HD. The RAS kits are my favorite since they are simple, effective, and offer no downside like harsher ride quality etc.

Hey Corey, what ended up working with your Chevy 2500 after switching to the Raptor and the Curt A20 hitch? Your update could make it easier for others running into the same clearance issue with airbag kits and frame plates.
