Can 2023 Chevrolet Traverse FWD Be Flat Towed

Hi. Im considering purchasing a used 2023 Chevy Traverse to flat tow behind my RV. The 2023 Chevy Transverse Owners Manual says that this vehicle CAN be flat towed but makes no mention of Front Wheel Drive versions versus AWD versions. Ive seen where usually only AWD or 4x4 vehicles can be flat towed. Does your information tell you that it is approved by Chevy to flat tow the Front Wheel Drive versions of this SUV? Thanks a lot.

Hey Robert! Yes, your 2023 Traverse FWD can be flat towed. This varies from vehicle to vehicle, and if it was allowed for AWD and not FWD it would be called out in the manual. I also pulled up the manual and it does not differentiate between the two meaning it works for any version of the Traverse.
It looks like you have ordered some Blue Ox flat towing parts in the past. Do you already have a Blue Ox tow bar? If so, I recommend the following for a complete setup:
-Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU63CR (If you have Lower Active Aero Shutters)
-Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU33XR (If you DO NOT have Lower Active Aero Shutters)
-Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX7420 (If you don't still have a tow bar)
