The Second Vehicle Breakaway Kit for Blue Ox Patriot Supplemental Braking Systems # BRK2505 is designed to work with the Blue Ox Patriot BRK2012 (NLA), Patriot II BRK2010 (NLA), BRK2016 (NLA), or the Patriot 3 BRK2019 (NLA). Unfortunately, this will not work for Brake Buddy.

Depending on what Brake Buddy you have, you could use the:

Replacement Breakaway System for Brake Buddy Classic and Select Supplemental Braking Systems # HM39340 if you have the:

- Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524 or the

-Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39494.

If you have the Hopkins BrakeBuddy Vantage Towed Vehicle Braking System # HM39504 (NLA), then you can use # HM39327.

if your vehicle is wired with the Replacement Breakaway Kit for Brake Buddy Vantage Select Flat Tow Brake System Item # HM39327 and I have a Patriot brk2010 so I need the BRK2505 do I need to pull a new wire or is there a converter end?

@Shawn You'd need to use the Second Vehicle Breakaway Kit for Blue Ox Patriot Flat Tow Brake Systems # BRK2505 then. There isn't a conversion from Brake Buddy to Patriot so you'd need to fresh install this one.
