Will I Have Enough Clearance Between Camper And Bed Rails When Using Gen-Y Goosebox GY48GR

Question:
eTrailer, I have a 2020 Silverado 3500 LTZ 4 wheel drive pulling a 2021 Cruiser Aire 24RL with the Turning Point pin box. I calculated that I have 17.5inch between the center of my gooseneck ball and the top of the bed rails. On the camper, the center of the pin box mounting holes are even with the fiberglass on the bottom of the overhang. Will I have enough clearance with the Gen-Y GY48GR between the trailer and the bed rails?

Hello Nelson. I have included a dimensional drawing of the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY48GR below for your reference. Your best bet will be to compare this to the bed of your truck and see how everything lines up.

I’ve seen the drawing and estimate I have about six inches of clearance, not counting for the torsion flex. How much flex is there?
