Bolt On Instead of Welding the Lock N Roll Articulating Coupler

Question:

Hi, I purchased the lock n roll a-frame trailer side coupler to attach to my 5foot X 10foot enclosed cargo trailer, modified to go off road. I would like to bolt it on instead of welding it. Do you suggest a bolt size and how many to use?

Welcome back! The Lock N Roll Articulating Coupler # 336TS504 is listed as a weld-on application but if you want to bolt it on you'll need to drill some 5/8" holes. Most of our bolt on couplers have 3 holes on either side spaced 2" apart. You'll want to use grade 5 hex bolts.

What kind of trailer are you using?

It is 2023 Victory Interstate 5' X10' enclosed trailer that I have modified to be an off road camper.
