Are Draw Tite Hitches for 2022 Honda Accord and 2024 Honda Accord Interchangeable

Question:
Can you tell me if the bolt pattern on the draw-tite 24972 2022 Honda Accord is the same as the draw-tite 25007 2024 Honda Accord? I previously installed the 24972 on my 2022 Accord and then upgraded to a 2024 Accord. I prefer the previous design 24972 that does not require drilling into the frame of the car or trimming undercarriage mounting hardware. For a simple bike rack, I think the 24972 design was great. What prevents the 24972 from being compatible with my 2024 Honda Accord?

Hey Josh, so the two hitches you mentioned the part # 25007 and the # 24972 are both pretty similar but the bolt patterns on the mounting plates are different. The distance between the top and bottom bolt holes is quite a bit different so they are not interchangeable. For your 2024 Accord you would need the part # DT86PR which is our part number for the 25007.
