This Curt trailer hitch gives your vehicle a solid rear connection for light-duty towing and accessory use. With a 2,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight rating, it’s built for smaller jobs like pulling a lightweight trailer or carrying a bike rack or cargo tray. The 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver tube makes it easy to expand your hauling options without needing heavy-duty gear.
Every part of this hitch is made to handle regular towing and transport tasks. If you prefer to handle your own installs, this hitch is set up for that. It includes all the mounting hardware and detailed instructions so you can bolt it on yourself with basic tools. Installation requires drilling, heat shield trimming, and temporarily lowering the exhaust, but everything is laid out clearly so you can get it right the first time and get back on the road sooner.
Once mounted, only the 1-1/4" receiver opening is visible beneath the bumper, giving the setup a clean, low-profile look. The concealed cross tube keeps the hitch tucked away so your vehicle maintains its original appearance while gaining the added utility of towing and accessory mounting.

Excellent product, complete! Well constructed, bolts perfectly into place, durable powder coated finish.
Does not “fit” as easy as it did in the past. Now have to cut pieces out of vehicle body. Didn’t have to with last purchase.
The hitch install went mostly as planned and followed the install directions. The wire pull for pulling the bolt through didn't really work for me. After a few attempts I took a coat hanger, straighten it out and taped with about 3" of magnetic ball chain on the end. I was able to fish the magnetic ball chain out the drilled hole with a small telescoping magnet. I then tied a string to the ball chain and pulled the string back out the access hole. I then tied the string to the wire pull and it brought the bolt right thru.
I thought the wire pull thread attachment for the bolt was too loose. I could pull the bolt out with just a slight tug and was afraid it would fall off inside the car body. I decided to put electric tape around the thread attachment pulled as tight as possible to keep the diameter as small as possible. This worked ok but added some work at the end removing the tape. I had done another hitch install several years ago on a different car that also used the wire pull with the thread attachment and my recollection was the wire pull thread attachment was much tighter, so I was surprised by how loose this new one was.
A small safety note when working around the stamped metal mufflers which are close to the drilled holes. Those stamped edges are very sharp even with gloves on. I put some tape over the edges while working in that area and then removed the tape when done.
**WORKS ON THE HYBRID** Not sure why this says "not for hybrid" when it 100% fits. Called Curt direct and was told "it works on all 2025 Accords". Ordered it up, and sure enough, zero issues. Install is what it is, easy but time consuming. Threading the last two bolts through the frame rail is the scary part but plenty of YouTube videos show the same hack I used. Another quality purchase from Etrailer!
