Question:
Hello Can any ball mount be used with Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount - 2 Hitch - 5 /Rise - 16K Part Number: 325-GH-503 , Im looking to use it with my current weigh safe ball mount that I have a Weigh Safe Aero Hitch for 2 Hitch - 4 /5 Rise - 12.5K - Steel will there be any issues doing this, such as losing weight capacity ?

Hi John,
That would be leveraging the weight further out from the hitch so you would have an unknown weight capacity and this would essentially be the same as using two adapters, which isn't recommended by us or Gen-Y. Are you trying to get more length to clear a spare tire or something else? I might have another solution for you if you can give me a better idea of what you're needing to do with these components.

Hey John, what ended up being the main goal with your Gen-Y and Weigh Safe ball mounts—were you trying to get extra clearance or something else? Once you narrowed that down, did you find a setup that worked safely for your hitch? Your update could make it easier for others working through the same issue.
