Do I Need Front Timbrens on a 2022 Ford F-350 Pulling a 5th Wheel Trailer?

Updated 01/19/2025 | Published 01/18/2025

Question:

I bought the rear bump stops of timbren from you just recently and drove it with out my 5th wheel behind the pickup. Noticed the difference. Like them I am excited to see if it will reduce my sag. Question is would it be a good ideal to put the front bump stops on the front. Most I use my f350 is to pull my 29 foot camper 10000 gvwr

Hey Scott!! Welcome back, happy to hear you like your Timbrens. As far as a set of front ones go like item # TFF350SDC, unless you're using a snow plow, a front hitch, you've got a heavy duty front bumper, or you have plans of getting an in bed camper I don't think you'll get much out of them.

Now, I will say if you are driving on rough roads or make sudden stops these will help the front end and keep it level. The most benefit you're going to get out of them is side to side stability if your trailer's rocking or when you turn.

The Timbren item # TFF350SDC has been confirmed to fit the 4WD 2022 Ford F-350. They have a 3,000 lbs capacity.
