Features to know about

Stay Level Up Front: 3,000-lb Front Suspension Support

Heavy gear or front-mounted equipment can make your vehicle sag at the nose, throwing off handling and headlight aim. This Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 3,000 lbs of capacity to keep the front end level and your steering steady. The hollow rubber springs work with your factory suspension to improve handling and braking when you’re carrying or pushing heavy loads.

Smooth Out Rough Roads: Hollow Rubber Springs That Absorb Shock

Bumpy roads and rough terrain can wear you out and beat up your suspension. These Aeon hollow rubber springs act like heavy-duty shock absorbers that take the edge off harsh bumps and jolts. They cushion light loads for a comfortable ride and become more rigid as weight increases, keeping your ride smooth and stable without bottoming out.

Stay Steady Through Turns and Crosswinds: Independent Spring Action

When the road tips or a sharp corner loads one side more than the other, each spring works on its own to keep things balanced. The independent action helps reduce body roll when swerving or turning, and it compensates automatically for off-center loads so your vehicle stays planted and predictable in curves or crosswinds.

Timbren suspension system reducing body roll and vehicle sag when turning or carrying uneven loads.

Bolt On and Go: Simple, No-Drill Installation

Getting better suspension support doesn’t have to be complicated. The kit bolts straight onto your existing bump stop mounts using custom brackets—no drilling required. With the hardware included, you can install it using basic tools in your driveway or garage and get back to hauling with added confidence.

Built to Last: Durable, Maintenance-Free Design

Unlike air systems that need hoses or compressors, this setup uses solid rubber springs that require no upkeep. The progressive design means fewer parts to fail, and the tough rubber construction provides long-term durability for years of reliable load support under real-world use.

A+++ Excellent product and customer service. Bought both front and rear suspension enhancements and worth it. Highly recommend.

by:

I like using Etrailer because i can call and talk to a person. These front ones went in pretty easy just like directions said. and they got rid of the bad bumping sound in my front end after hitting a bump. smoothed things right out.

by:

The timbrens actually did what they were suppose to do. However, once I starter driving out west I notice the timbrens were riding on the axle which cause the speedometer to jump around depending on the road. I would recommend them if you are hauling or towing a camper or RV. I was going to contact etrailer about maybe removing a spacer for one set however the other set came as one unit. The bottom line is the Timbrens does stabilize your load for safe travels. I will be contacting etrailer soon to assist in correcting the problem...Road trip from Idaho,Colorado,Wyoming, and Utah were beautiful... Thank you etrailer

by:

Installation was not too hard, Install Videos explain all steps in great detail. BumpStops arrived in excellent condition and was delivered in a timely manner

by:

I had a problem with getting front sumo springs relative to the rear sumo springs I purchased earlier; however, the staff at etrailer were very helpful in getting me a suspension enhancement component made by timbren which I just installed. I believe the timbren supports are going to do the job I was looking for and make me just as happy as I am with the rear sumo springs. You will notice from the photos the supports make direct contact; however, the pictures were taken on a unlevel surface and when the truck is on a level surface the direct contact is equal on either side. Also, the timbren supports provide substantially more weight capacity in the event I choose to haul my scooter on the front end of the truck. Thanks again Derek S and etrailer staff I am very pleased with the service, customer relations and professionalism experienced when ordering my parts. Thank you, Bobby (Louisiana).

I installed Timbren’s front and rear on my 2020 F53 chassis motorhome. They are by far the best suspension upgrade I have done. I had previously installed Super Steer Trac Bar, Radius Rods and Safe-T-Plus, which had helped, but not as much as I had hoped. The Timbren’s finalized the package and it drives good now.

by:

Easy install, didn't even need the brackets for my application. Really helped with sidesway in the wind and seems to help the front from dipping with extra weight. Haven't tried plowing snow yet but I think they will make a major difference

by:

Ok it’s been a year since I’ve had the springs and I’m impressed. With how easy the install is and what you get out of it these are truly amazing. No more “squishy” feeling when towing my 22fy travel trailer. The ride is a little bumpy but I don’t care. I’m glad I found these.

by:

For me surprisingly easy to install at 67 years old. Had immediate handling improvement and steering control.

by:

Have them on several trucks now and couldn't imagine running snow plows without anymore.

by:

The front Timbren are working very good. The rear not so good

by:

Install was straightforward. Hardest part was getting the old bump stops out. Sway was greatly reduced on the Interstate and the rock and roll by passing semis was greatly reduced. Wish I had bought these sooner!

by:

Pretty pricey but well worth it. Put these all the way around at the same time as new rear leaf springs on our c7500 topkick and it made a huge difference. It's a top heavy bucket truck and it would rock and roll just turning a corner to the point it was downright scary. Now thats greatly reduced. They also smoothed out the ride especially when loaded more than I expected.
Install was simple, perfect fit. Worst part was grinding out the rivet on the old bracket

by:

These bumpstops really work, they stop the front end vibration before it travels through the shocks and springs, for a smooth ride

by:

I haven/t installed them yet. I think I should have gotten a discount for the age of the "box"s the Timbrens were in. May be a credit ,, Brad

by:

I love these things. They are worth the upfront expense. I have them on two ¾'s, one ½, and a minivan for road trips. This particular set is full-time active up front. I have a 2" leveling kit and I'm in em no matter what. Zero complaints though. Solid performance through all aspects. I don't run any front-end attachments.

by:

I have a 2006 Kodiak 2 wheel drive. Timbrin firmed up the front end to much. There in full contact with the spring. I think it to stuff and I might be removing them. The install was straight forward. Parts are as expected and quality of Timbrin is great. Just not enough cush..

by:

Great ordering, shipping time, cost, and supporting information. We added a snow plow and the product did everything as advertised.

  • Timbren Suspension Enhancement For 2024 Ford F350 Dually 4x4 With Truck Bed Camper
Hello Jeff, thanks for reaching out. For your 2024 F350 Dually 4x4 I recommend the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TFRTT350J. This is a severe service kit which is intended for vehicles just like yours that have a constant load in the bed like a truck camper or salt spreader. Especially considering the added tongue weight from your trailer, you will definitely want the additional support from the severe service kit.

  • Which Timbren Suspension Enhancement Kit Fits a 2006 Ford F-350 Dually?
Hi David, I'd be happy to help. Timbren is an excellent choice if you're looking to level out your truck, reduce rear sag, and improve stability under load. The correct kits depend on whether your 2006 Ford F-350 dually is two wheel drive or four wheel drive. If you have a four wheel drive model, you'll want the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System, part # TFF350SDC, along with the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, part # TFR350SDF. If you have a two wheel drive model,...

The best options for you so long as you have the factory coil springs are with the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F4160 for 4x4 and part # F4101 for 4x2 or the Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs part # CSS-1094F for 4x2. • Determining The Correct Timbren SES For A 2020 Ford F-350
For a 2020 Ford F-350 there's only two options for the rear axle with the only difference being capacity. There's the 8,600lb capacity # TFR350SDJ or 8,000lb capacity # TFRTT350J. For the front there are two different options as well depending on whether or not your F-350 is 2WD or 4WD. For 2WD you'll need the # TFF350SD2 and for 4WD you'll need the # TFF350SDC. • Recommended Front Suspension Enhancement for 2014 Ford F-350 With 4-1/2 Inch Lift and Snow Plow
Assuming you have the factory coil springs your best option will be the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4160. These are for the 4WD, if you have a 2WD then the # F4101 would be the correct part. These provide 1,000 lbs of load-leveling support by supporting your front coil springs. They will help to improve steering, braking, and headlight aim while reducing wear on your suspension. If you do not have the factory coil springs, your only option will be the Timbren Front Suspension...

I'm glad to hear the kind words! The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension # CSS-1069 will increase the coil spring capacity by 15% to 30% when installed. Since it is a part that works on multiple vehicle's there isn't a clear cut way to determine the exact weight or lift increase on your 2008 Ford F-250/F-350. • How Hard is it to Install Timbren Helper Springs # FF350SD2
If you take a look at the instructions I have linked for the Timbren helper springs # TFF350SD2 that should give you a good idea of what it takes to perform the installation. You would need to lift both sides of the vehicle up off the ground because the axle has to hang freely to perform the installation. So if you had 2 jacks and/or jack stands then it would be easy after that to perform the installation. Follow all necessary safety protocol when performing the installation. These springs...

Basically, you will jack up the vehicle and then support it with jack stands allowing the axle to hang freely. Then you will remove the existing bump stop assemblies on the vehicle. • Are There Front Air Bags for a 2022 Ford F-350 2WD
I do have an option for you to help with front end support and leveling but I checked with the two leading aftermarket air bag manufacturers in the industry, Firestone and AirLift, neither of them offer a solution for a 2022 Ford F-350 2WD. Instead, I recommend a jounce style spring replacement which is really your only option. The most popular of which is the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System part # TFF350SD2 which offers an easy bolt-on install.

  • Will Adding Timbren Front Helper Springs Lift the Front of a Vehicle
The Timbren front helper springs # TFF350SD2 will prevent the front of the vehicle from sagging but are not likely to offer any additional height. That is unless the stock set up causes the front suspension to compress. If that is the case then you would gain about the same amount of height as the stock suspension naturally compresses.
