Can Air Gauge On Air Lift Air Shock Controller Be Replaced With 100 PSI Gauge

Updated 11/03/2025 | Published 01/06/2025

Question:

I see this kit comes with a 200 gauge. Its there any way to just get a 100 gauge instead to monitor? Really hard to hit the minimum required 5lbs of air for the air bags with the high psi gauge. I dont really want to purchase the other kit with the correct gauge, it costs more.

Hi Jeff; any gauge with a 100 psi max from Air Lift doesn't match this style to replace the one that comes with the # AL25804. The reason the gauge goes up to 200 psi is because this is a 160 psi compressor and it needs to be able to show the higher pressure. What I would do is run it up to the first red mark which is 10 psi, then carefully release air until it barely touches the stopping point which will be 5 psi. The lowest point of the needle sits at 5 so as soon as it touches you're set.

Hey Jeff, how did it go using the 200 psi gauge on your Air Lift compressor to find that 5 psi mark? Were you able to get the pressure dialed in the way you wanted? Your update could make it easier for others working with the same setup.
